Doctorate Transcript
Upon successful completion of the doctorate and the iGRAD Basic Curriculum, iGRAD members can receive an official certificate (Doctorate Transcript). The Transcript confirms membership in iGRAD and documents, for future employers, the courses taken. The Transcript can also record further activities undertaken during the course of the doctorate that are related to improving the candidate’s qualifications, e.g. teaching, attending conferences, publications, awards. The Transcript is usually presented at the graduation ceremony (Promotionsfeier).
We use a questionnaire to obtain the information required for the transcript from the doctoral researchers. The questionnaire must be filled out in consultation with the main supervisor or, if the candidate belongs to a structured doctoral programme, with the relevant coordinating instance, and emailed back to the iGRAD office. We recommend making an early start to collecting the relevant information, even though the final exam may be some time away.
Please note the following deadlines for submission of the completed questionnaire:
For organisational reasons, there are unfortunately delays in the issuing of transcrpits at the moment. We apologise for this. In addition, we can provide you with a list of the courses you have attended with us at any time. |
