Description

A sustainable network is a key factor for a successful career inside and outside the academic sector. It allows an exchange of knowledge, access to the key information, and mutual support for successful projects. The key to networking is building meaningful relationships and mutual trust.
This workshop covers basic techniques as well as dos and don’ts of networking. In a balanced combination of theoretical input, exchange of experiences, and practical exercises, the participants will be enabled to develop their personal approach towards successful networking.

This training conveys key skills to enhances your chance for a successful career. You will learn:

  • To identify suitable networking partners and develop your personal networking strateg.
  • To maintain and increase your personal network.
  • To present yourself and your projects convincingly.

Technical information
The training consists of an online course in the open-source learning management environment “Moodle” (GNU GPL). It includes live online workshops given in the open- source online workshop system “BigBlueButton” (GNU GPL) as well as self-study and reflection tasks. The Moodle course will provide all necessary information for the pre- paration and follow-up exercises of every module, as well as a platform for discussions among and feedback from all participants and the trainer.
Prior to the course an account on moodle.gyger-training.de will be created for every participant using first name, last name, and your email address. All participants are kindly asked to register to the Moodle platform at least one day before the start of the training. The online workshops can only be accessed via the Moodle platform.
