Welcome to iGRAD

iGRAD, the Interdisciplinary Graduate and Research Academy Düsseldorf, was founded in 2008 as a cross-curricular institution located in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MNF) at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. iGRAD’s offers in training and development, counselling, and services provide targeted support for the qualification of young researchers within the faculty and are directed at all doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, research supervisors and mentors, as well as at affiliated graduate training programs and research networks. iGRAD thus offers a structured educational program that complies with current standards.
Together with the Medical Research School of the Medical Faculty, philGRAD of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and the Junior Scientist and International Researcher Center (JUNO), iGRAD forms the consortium of Heine Research Academies (HeRA) in 2013.
